Giants' starter Barry Zito will remain in the team's starting rotation despite his incredible slump, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. Two years ago the team skipped one of Matt Cain's starts and when he returned he excelled; they won't test the same practice on Zito, though. When asked if the Giants might consider skipping Zito pitching Coach Dave Righetti said, "No, because who the hell is going to pitch? We're not that deep in starting pitching. Noah Lowry is hurting now, and we're not that deep in Triple-A. We need (Zito) to pitch."
