With the loss still stinging, Detroit fans, many with nothing better to do, are now talking about a ?Tiger Curse.? Detroit native and moulding salesman Keith Haddox was so distraught when the Tiger's laid down to the Cardinals in the World Series, he felt he could not go on living. That is, until he discovered that the Tigers may not have choked after all, that their poor performance might be due to a curse, similar to the ?Curse of the Bambino? the Boston Red Sox suffered throughout those many years. ?I was at my end, the people of Detroit were at their collective end.? Said Keith. ?Just when I could not go on I read a very interesting article talking about a ?Tiger Curse? that has been haunting our fine Tigers for a very long time. How long, I am not sure.? ?It turns out that some time ago, again, not sure when, there was a pitcher who was just moments from making his first start. As he, not sure who he is by the way, as he was warming up, he decided to make a practice throw to first base. Well, the first baseman, Ron, or Sam something, I'm not really sure what his name was. Well anyway, this pitcher threw the ball to this guy and he was not ready for it. Well, the ball hit the first baseman in the knee cap causing a tingling sensation in his knee. This went on for a few minutes and while the first baseman was fine, the fans in attendance were pretty shaken up. Well, ever since this unfortunate event happened, Detroit pitchers have been very error-prone.? Many analysts say that besides the fact that Detroit batters were not able to hit the St. Louis pitching and therefore unable to score runs, the errors made by the Tiger pitchers were a big factor in the Tiger's demise. This fact has given many Detroit fans hope for the future. ?I sold a unit of casing for the first time in months yesterday!?
