Albert Pujols: The batting average has slipped a bit this week, down to .314 for the first-place Cardinals. His HR (25) and RBI (64) totals to date lead MLB. It's no surprise he is leading the NL All-Star Balloting. 2.(2.) David Ortiz: Boston's DH has 14 HR's and 47 RBI's for the first place Red Sox. 3.(3.) Derek Jeter: The Yankee captain is hitting .338 despite a recent hand injury. 4.(4.) Casey Blake: Blake is hitting .335 for Cleveland. 5.(8.)
