Padres' center fielder Jim Edmonds underwent an MRI on his strained right calf Friday, and the diagnosis has him missing two to three weeks, according to a report on MLB.com.
Edmonds suffered the injury Thursday during a Cactus League contest against the Rockies.
?There?s still a chance he could be ready for the start of the season,? Padres' GM Kevin Towers told the web site.
