Andy Pettitte has admitted to using human growth hormone in 2004 after it was supplied by his father, according to the Associated Press. Initially Pettitte confirmed evidence in the Mitchell Report that he injected HGH twice in 2002 to help heal his elbow, but last week he admitted more in a congressional affidavit. "In that affidavit, Andy informed the committee that in addition to the two shots a day of HGH he took for two days in 2002, he also took HGH for a one-day period in 2004, shortly preceding season-ending elbow surgery," his lawyers Jay Reisinger Thomas Farrell, and James Sharp said in a statement to the AP on Wednesday.
