Atlanta is considered the front-runner to land former Braves left-hander Tom Glavine, a free agent after declining an option with the New York Mets. Glavine, 41, has said he'd like to finish his career with the Braves, living at home with his wife and four children in Alpharetta. The Braves aren't permitted to talk contract with Glavine until Nov. 9. Glavine's agent, Gregg Clifton, had a conference call scheduled with the pitcher Monday night.
