Barry Bonds' time as a Giant appears to be running out even more quickly than expected.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported Monday that Bonds will miss up to a week with a sprained right big toe.
It has been widely speculated that the Giants will not re-sign Bonds, meaning that the all-time home run leader could miss the remainder of his home games in San Francisco.
The Giants have seven home games left this season - four this weekend against the Reds and a three-game series with the Padres.
