The White Sox signed manager Ozzie Guillen to a contract extension on Tuesday that will keep the World Series-winning manager on the South Side through 2012.
Guillen has won 333 games in three-plus seasons managing the Sox, who won 99 games and swept the Houston Astros to win the 2005 title; Guillen was named the American League manager of the year.
Coming into Tuesday night's game against Cleveland, Guillen is six wins from tying Clarence Rowland for ninth all-time for wins as a White Sox manager.
