Phillies' lefthander, Cole Hamels, has been scratched from tomorrow afternoon's start against the Florida Marlins at Dolphin Stadium because he continues to feel discomfort in his elbow, which put him on the disabled list on Aug. 22. "In seeing how this team has been playing, I don't think it would be very beneficial for me to go out there and not be able to contribute as much as I would like," Hamels said before last night's game against the Marlins. "Going out there and being 100 percent is different than being 80 percent," he said. "I want to contribute as much as possible, but if I don't have that confidence that I'll be able to help the team enough, then I don't think it's worth it, especially [since] every guy in the rotation has won a game right now."
