Devil Rays owner Stuart Sternberg came away impressed after watching his newest big investment take the mound. David Price, taken first overall in this year's draft, threw 44 pitches during a 10-minute bullpen session before Tampa Bay played Cleveland on Friday night. It was his first workout before officials since signing a six-year, $11.25 million contract on Wednesday. "He's a young man that carries himself really well," Sternberg said. "He's really got it together. He is special." Price's deal included $8.5 million guaranteed, with a $5.6 million signing bonus.
