The St. Louis Cardinals received more bad news concerning their starting third baseman Scott Rolen. Rolen was recently placed on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained left shoulder which is still too sore to undergo complete medical testing. "They tried to do it this morning, and he was just too uncomfortable to tolerate it," Paletta said. "We got what we could. We really need those additional views to get the most realistic picture and the most realistic prognosis." Team physician, Dr. George Paletta, indicated Rolen may be sidelined for up to six weeks.
