Outfielder Preston Wilson is in Colorado to visit with Dr. Richard Steadman and could have surgery on his injured right knee as early as today. Wilson hasn't appeared in a game since May 5, because of soreness in the knee he attributed to cartilage damage and a bone bruise. Wilson expected to have a cleanup procedure or more serious microfracture surgery done on his knee, the latter of which would end his season. The Cardinals will learn which repair will be used after the consultation.
