It wasn't a big surprise when Ray Durham was missing from Sunday's afternoon lineup, but it is surprising that a trip to the disabled list is a possibility. Durham strained his abdomen while going for a grounder in the third inning of Saturday's 6-1 loss to the Rockies. He came out of the game after the third, but before departing he lined a single into right field. Durham has hit safely in a team-high 35 of his 45 games, making it extra painful for the Giants to lose his bat in the lineup. Durham was scheduled to get an MRI at some time before Sunday's game, giving the Giants a better idea of Durham's condition before they depart for a 10-game road trip. "DL is a possibility. We'll have a better idea where he's at after the game," manager Bruce Bochy said.
