Angels manager Mike Scioscia did his best to deflect the attention. It was hard to do with all the kudos coming his way. Los Angeles beat the White Sox 5-1 on Friday night, making Scioscia the winningest manager in franchise history. The victory was Scioscia's 626th during the regular season, eclipsing Bill Rigney's total. Scioscia has managed the Angels in 1,134 regular-season games, 168 fewer than Rigney -- the team's first manager.
