The Angels placed Garret Anderson on the 15-day disabled list Friday because of a tear in his right hip flexor tendon. The move is retroactive to April 28, the day after Anderson hurt himself running out a grounder against the White Sox. Anderson had an MRI exam Friday, with results showing the tear. He could miss up to a month. Anderson is hitting .263 with one homer and 10 RBIs in 23 games this season.
