The Chicago White Sox are expected to trade Garrett Crochet this offseason and their preference is a package headlined by a high-end position player, according to a report.

However, they could still take a pitcher if the rest of the trade package is to their liking.

Crochet, 25, has two years of team control remaining.

The left-hander posted a 3.58 ERA and 209 strikeouts in 146 innings this past season.
