The Minnesota Twins will hire Matt Borgschulte as their hitting coach, according to a report.

Minnesota is hiring Borgschulte away from the Baltimore Orioles, where he served as co-hitting coach. He replaces the recently dismissed David Popkins.

Borgschulte was a hitting coach in the Twins' minor league ranks from 2018-21 before being hired by the Orioles.
