The Los Angeles Dodgers are hoping to add an impact bat before next week's trade deadline.
Despite a down year overall, the Dodgers are interested in Randy Arozarena. He's started to heat up for the Tampa Bay Rays, with a .906 OPS and seven home runs since June 1.
"The Dodgers are in on Arozarena," a source said. "He would be a great fit there."
Arozarena is earning $8.1 million this season and is arbitration-eligible for two more years.
In addition to Arozarena, the Dodgers are also interested in Luis Robert, Jr. of the Chicago White Sox. The center fielder is signed for $15 million in 2025 with $20 million club options for both 2026 and 2027.
