After terrorizing NL pitchers for the last week, Mets center fielder Carlos Beltran was rewarded for his efforts. Beltran was named the NL Player of the Week on Monday. Beltran batted .448 and led the league with 27 total bases, hitting four doubles, two triples and two home runs.
