Dustin May is headed to the injured list with right elbow pain less than a year after coming back from Tommy John surgery.

May has a flexor pronator strain and will miss at least one month, but the Los Angeles Dodgers didn't want to speculate beyond that.

May's ulnar collateral ligament is intact, relevant given that the right-hander is coming off reconstructive elbow surgery, according to sources.

"It's tough for Dustin, what he's had to go through," Dave Roberts said. "He was throwing the baseball well this year and feeling good. Right now to have this speed bump, I know he's disappointed."
