The Pittsburgh Pirates ended their seven-game losing streak with a 2-0 win over the Colorado Rockies on Monday night.

Mitch Keller struck out eight, walked one and threw 104 pitches in his first career complete game.

"That's what guys that start Opening Day do," Derek Shelton said. "They go out and stop (a losing streak), and he did it with an exclamation mark."

It was the first nine-inning shutout by a Pirates starter since Jameson Taillon one-hit the Cincinnati Reds on April 8, 2018.
