The New York Mets are hiring Eric Hinske as assistant hitting coach.

Eric Chavez will switch to bench coach and Dom Chiti will now be the club's bullpen coach.

Glenn Sherlock is moving from bench coach to catching and strategy coach, and Jeremy Barnes from assistant hitting coach to hitting coach.

Most recently, Hinske was the assistant hitting coach for the Arizona Diamondbacks from 2019-21.
