The Miami Marlins have interviewed Houston Astros executive Oz Ocampo for an assistant general manager position, according to a report.

Kim Ng has been tasked with rebuilding both the roster and the front office with the departure of Derek Jeter as CEO in February and Dan Mattingly's announcement that he wouldn't return as manager.

The Marlins currently have two assistant GMs -- Daniel Greenlee, who joined the organization in 2017, and Brian Chattin, who has been with the organization for over a decade.
