Terry Francona's contract expires after the season and he has been in talks with the Cleveland Guardians about his future as manager.

It seems likely he'll remain on the job, but his health issues have made it harder for the 63-year-old to manage.

"I want to enjoy what I'm doing. It's getting harder to do that, just because physically it's harder," Francona said. "I just want to be careful.  And at the same time, I want to be fair to the team."

Chris Antonetti echoed the statement, saying "I want to make sure [Francona] never feels he has this obligation to keep doing the job because he owes us anything. I want him to do what’s best for him."
