Jameson Taillon was pulled from the New York Yankees' win against the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday after only two innings, after being hit by a 91 mph liner off the bat of Magneuris Sierra.

The club later announced Taillon had a right forearm contusion and that X-rays for a possible fracture were negative.

"X-ray's negative, obviously; feeling better already. Started trying to get the swelling out of there," Aaron Boone said. "Obviously, [the ball] got him good. We'll just have to see how the next couple of days unfold."
