Major League Baseball and the players' association have agreed to extend Trevor Bauer's administrative leave through April 22, according to sources.

Bauer was placed on seven days' paid leave last July 2 under the union and MLB's joint domestic violence and sexual assault policy after a Southern California woman said he choked her into unconsciousness, punched her repeatedly and had anal sex with her without her consent during two sexual encounters in 2021.

Since then, MLB and the union have agreed to multiple extensions of the administrative leave for the Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher.

Bauer has not pitched since June 29, 2021.
