Despite Major League Baseball's announcement that Opening Day won't come before April 14, the league and the players continue to discuss their issues on the international draft and qualifying offer, according to reports.
If a new collective bargaining agreement is reached soon, the two sides would then discuss the number of games to be played this season.
MLB and the MLBPA have closed much of the gap in economic issues, but remain divided on the league's desire for an international draft and the union's push for the elimination of the qualifying offer.
