Two candidates interviewed with the New York Mets for their managerial vacancy Wednesday.

Buck Showalter and Bob Geren met with the club. According to a source, Showalter left the Mets "pretty impressed."

The pair joined Joe Espada, Matt Quatraro and Brad Ausmus as those who have interviewed for the Mets' vacancy.
