Major League Baseball is considering potential vaccine policies for Minor Leaguers and believes, after consulting infectious disease experts, that vaccination provides the safest environment for players, according to a source.

MLB is also finalizing a plan to mandate that Minor Leaguers get their shots ahead of spring training 2022.

Minor league players weren't mandated to get vaccinated in 2021 but were encouraged to do so.
