The Toronto Blue Jays are eyeing a late July return to Rogers Centre in Canada.

Since the start of the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, the Blue Jays have called their spring training complex in Dunedin, Florida and Sahlen Field in Buffalo home.

The club recently submitted their own application for a return home to the federal government in recent weeks, according to a report. The Jays begin a 10-game homestand on July 30.

The Blue Jays have not played a game at the Rogers Centre since Sept. 29, 2019.
