New York Mets prospect Pete Crow-Armstrong will undergo surgery on his non-throwing shoulder to repair a GLAD lesion.

An MRI revealed a tear of the labrum as well as an injury to the articular cartilage of the shoulder.

The Mets drafted Crow-Armstrong with the 19th overall pick in the 2020 MLB Draft.

He's projected as a "high-grade center fielder with top-of-the-order potential."
