The Los Angeles Dodgers have a loaded pitching staff, something David Price saw while he watched the 2020 season as a spectator.

When the Dodgers became linked to Trevor Bauer in free agency this offseason, Price reached out to Andrew Friedman and told the president of baseball operations that he'd take on any role with the club.

"Whatever makes the 2021 Dodgers better," Price said, "I'm all for it."

The Dodgers have at least seven candidates for their starting rotation -- Bauer and Price join Clayton Kershaw, Walker Buehler, Julio Urias, Dustin May and Tony Gonsolin.
