Blake Snell helped take the Tampa Bay Rays to the World Series this past season, but he's now a member of the San Diego Padres.

The Padres sent four prospects to the Rays for Snell, who has three years left on his contract.

"They're super exciting," Snell said of the Padres. "They're a team that plays with a lot of fun. They're swaggy, and they can swing the bat."

Snell went 4-2 with a 3.24 ERA in 11 starts during the pandemic-shortened 2020 regular season, then went 2-2 with a 3.03 ERA in six postseason starts.
