Tampa Bay Rays rookie Randy Arozarena set the record for most hits in a single postseason in Game 5 of the World Series on Sunday night.

Arozarena set the mark with a third-inning base hit off Clayton Kershaw.

The 25-year-old has 27 hits this postseason. He had been tied with Pablo Sandoval (2014) for the all-time lead with 26.

"Pretty special. Pretty special," Kevin Cash said. "He wanted the ball, too. I noticed that. He asked for the ball. Congrats to Randy."
