The New York Mets are moving Seth Lugo into their starting rotation.

Lugo, who leads the team with three saves, will replace the struggling Steven Matz. He'll start on Thursday against the Miami Marlins.

Matz will move to the bullpen with Edwin Diaz becoming the closer.

"Seth has been a starter for us in the past," Luis Rojas said. "He's a guy who is ready for any kind of challenge with his versatility."
