Washington Nationals prospect Luis Garcia made history when he homered against the Atlanta Braves on Monday night.

Garcia, who was born on May 16, 2000, is the first player in Major League history born in the 2000s to go deep.

"I feel good," García said, who is ranked was Washington's No. 2 prospect. "I feel great to be here. I want to be here for a long time, and now I'm so excited, so happy to be here and be a good teammate."
