Justin Turner homered off Max Scherzer in the first inning, but the Los Angeles Dodgers were silenced for the remainder of the game as the Washington Nationals won 6-1 and forced a Game 5 in the NLDS.

Scherzer was brilliant after allowing Turner to take him deep. He threw 109 pitches over seven innings, allowing just four hits. He struck out seven and walked three. Sean Doolittle and Daniel Hudson combined to close out the game for Washington.

Anthony Rendon was the offensive star for the Nationals. He hit two sacrifice flies (in the third and sixth) and had an RBI single in the fifth inning. Ryan Zimmerman clubbed a three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth.

Rich Hill, who started for the Dodgers, went 2 2/3 innings. He walked four and allowed one run on two hits. Julio Urias struggled, getting just two outs out of the bullpen. He allowed three runs on three hits.

The two clubs will face off in Game 5 on Wednesday in Los Angeles with Stephen Strasburg taking on Walker Buehler.
