Robinson Cano is headed for an MRI after limping off the field on Sunday with a strained left hamstring.

Cano was just starting to hit for the New York Mets, who defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 13-2 in the game.

The Mets are within one game of .500 for the first time since mid-June.

"We don't know what it is yet. We just are going to get it checked out [Monday]," Cano said. "We will see what happens."
