Edwin Diaz of the Seattle Mariners and Josh Hader of the Milwaukee Brewers were honored as Major League Baseball's top relievers for 2018.

Diaz is the more traditional closer with 57 saves, tied for the second most ever. He had a 1.96 ERA for the Mariners.

Hader went 6-1 during the season with a 2.43 ERA and 12 saves. He was used mostly in multi-inning outings and rarely in back-to-back days.
