Jose Altuve played for Triple-A Fresno on Sunday as he recovers from a right knee injury.

Altuve hasn't played since July 25, but is set to return to the Houston Astros on Tuesday night against the Seattle Mariners.

He hit a single to right field for his first career Triple-A hit and saved the baseball. "I got two first hits this year -- All-Star and Triple-A. I'm really proud," Altuve said.

Altuve jumped straight from Double-A Corpus Christi to the Astros in 2011.
