The Atlanta Braves have acquired Jonny Venters from the Tampa Bay Rays for an international roster slot.

Venters, 33, was a key member of Atlanta's bullpen in 2010-12. He hadn't pitched in the Major Leagues since then until the Rays called him up this season because of elbow problems.
