The Los Angeles Dodgers have an agreement in place to hire Mark Prior as their new bullpen coach, according to a report.

Prior, 37, officially retired after the 2013 season. He has served as the Minor League pitching coordinator for the San Diego Padres.

He will take over for Josh Bard, who left the Dodgers in December to join new New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone's staff as the bench coach.
