The latest tests on Reds center fielder Ken Griffey Jr.'s broken left hand appeared to be positive. The club revealed on Monday that Griffey underwent X-rays and was examined over the weekend in Orlando, Fla., by team medical director Dr. Tim Kremchek. The doctor told the team that the 37-year-old was healing as expected. The Reds said that Griffey's left hand, also his throwing hand, will be examined again in approximately 10 days.
