Giancarlo Stanton will meet with the Miami Marlins' new ownership group after the conclusion of the World Series, he told Jimmy Kimmel this week.

Stanton may be involved in trade rumors all winter, but the slugger has full no-trade protection.

It has been rumored that the Marlins want to drop their payroll into the $90 million range, which would be difficult with Stanton's contract in the mix. The fact that he hit 59 home runs this season and turns just 28 next month makes him a desirable trade target.
