The New York Mets are believed to be deciding between Kevin Long and Manny Acta for their managerial vacancy.

The Mets fired Terry Collins at the end of the season.

Long is the Mets' hitting coach while Acta is currently third base coach for the Seattle Mariners. Acta previously was manager of the Nationals and Indians.
