Tommy Lasorda waited outside the Dodgers clubhouse long after Justin Turner hit a walk-off three-run homer to give the Dodgers a 4-1 win and a 2-0 series lead over the Cubs in the NLCS Sunday night at Dodger Stadium.

Lasorda is 90 now and bound to a wheelchair since he was hospitalized with a heart condition this summer. His energy isn't the same as before. Neither is his legendary appetite. But he wasn't leaving the ballpark without delivering a message to Dodgers manager Dave Roberts.

"Everybody else tried to do this," Lasorda told Roberts during a quiet moment outside the clubhouse. "But you're doing it."
