The Seattle Mariners have agreed to acquire David Phelps from the Miami Marlins.

The Marlins will acquire Brayan Hernandez along with three pitching prospects.

Phelps has a 3.45 ERA in 47.0 innings of relief this season with a 9.8 K/9 ratio.
