The San Francisco Giants have inquired with the Miami Marlins about Giancarlo Stanton, according to a report.

Other clubs have asked about Stanton as well. The slugger is believed to be willing to waive his no-trade clause if the Marlins commit to a rebuild.

Stanton's contract would make a trade difficult. He has 10 guaranteed years and $285 million remaining on the deal with a club option for 2028 that includes a $10 million buyout.
