A pair of Seattle Mariners were delayed by visa issues and did not arrive in time for the start of Thursday night's loss to the Blue Jays in Toronto.

Ariel Miranda and Guillermo Heredia did not travel with the rest of the team to Canada on Wednesday. They both traveled to Toronto on Thursday and joined the Mariners midgame as expected.

The Mariners said the problems were just a mix-up, and Scott Servais said Heredia would have been available to play had he arrived at the park prior to the game.
