David Price underwent an MRI exam on Wednesday and intends to get a second opinion, according to the Boston Red Sox.

Price has been experiencing soreness in his left elbow and forearm. The MRI taken Wednesday by the team's medical staff showed swelling and fluid but was largely "inconclusive." He will visit Dr. James Andrews and Dr. Neal ElAttrache on Friday in Indianapolis.

"Any time you have someone like (Price), you're going to be cautious," Dave Dombrowski said. "And the only reason why we'd do that, what we're trying to set up, is because (Andrews and ElAttrache) happen to be set up in the same place in a very short time period, which would be convenient if we could get in to see them."
